In this video, career expert J.T. O'Donnell shares the #1 thing that recruiters HATE seeing during video interviews. If you have a video interview coming up, you DEFINITELY want to watch this one...

Okay, so what is it that recruiters HATE seeing more than anything during video interviews? DISTRACTIONS.

That means, pets climbing across the keyboard, people walking behind you, or a messy room. Basically anything that can take the focus off of you and your professionalism.

This might seem like common sense but, unfortunately, it happens all of the time. And, it can completely ruin your chances of moving forward in the hiring process.

So, be sure to learn from this mistake and eliminate anything that could draw the interviewer's attention away from you. That means, removing pictures or knick knacks in the background, keeping your pets in a different room, and making sure the door is locked so no one comes in to bother you.
