CV - Resume - Oliver Anderson - Amsterdam - The Netherlands - InterimProfessional Finance



First of all I would like to address that for more than five years I am operating as a self employed Interim Professional Finance/Accountant and Interim Manager Finance/Accountant. Before my interim career I have worked as an Assistant Accountant at Citco, also for more than five years.

As an Interim Professional Finance/Accountant and as an Interim Manager Finance/Accountant I have had many roles like Financial Accountant, Cash Accountant, GL Accountant, Accountant, Treasurer, Assistant Finance Manager and Assistant to the CFO at many international organizations like an IGT, ECOLAB, COGNOS/IBM, Diageo, Aberdeen Property Investors, and much more.

Anyway, when you need me, I will get the job done. I am always there for you and always ready and willing to learn new skills. And if I become aware of a weakness, I see it as a Golden Opportunity to develop these skills and knowledge through training and colleagues. Some people say that I am too persistent.

For your convenience, please find below some tasks and responsibilities that are very often recurring and where I have created sort of a specialism.

Providing high-quality support to the Accounting Manager on a daily basis;

Reviewing and analyzing documents and work alongside in the team to provide comprehensive input and insight into financial topics;

Day-to-day bookkeeping for the company;

Arranging for all financial related matters for the company;

Preparing annual reports;

Preparing interim accounts;

Preparing tax returns;

Taking full ownership and accountability of the accounting of several Dutch entities;

Support and coach the SAP transition on Finance and Accounting Level;

Support and coach the Medium Sized Team;

Month-, Quarter- and Year-end Reporting and Closing;

Setting up and the Preparation of Financial Statements of 7 entities;

Setting up and the Preparation of Statutory Accounts of 7 entities;

Sweeping away the backlog in the Day-to-Day bookkeeping;

Drive Process Improvement and Streamlining in related areas;

Bank Reconciliation;

Providing High Quality Support to Management on a daily basis;

Setting up and the Preparation of Packaging Taxes;

Reporting to Dutch Central Bank, Tax Authorities and Bureau of Statistics;

Analyzing Financial Records to prepare Budgets and to Forecast;

Assist in all sort of Ad Hoc Assignments.
