Workshop Highlights: Online Job Search in the 21st Century - #CareerTips

How do you apply for jobs in the 21st century? What new tools, insights and perspectives should you have in your digital job search toolbox? How can you build or improve a resume or CV? Circumspecte helped answer these questions during the "Applying for Jobs in the 21st Century" workshop on February 28, 2020, organised in partnership with the New Career Platform and JobnetAfrica.

With about 50 proactive job seekers in attendance at the SB Incubator in Accra, Ghana, Circumspecte.com founder Jemila Abdulai shared essential insights on resume and CV essentials, submitting an online job application, email etiquette as well as networking tips for LinkedIn and beyond. Recruiter Minoek Wijs also provided a recruiter's perspective on job search with tips on delivering a great elevator pitch. Participants got to test out their new insights and skills in a round of practical group exercises, with feedback from Circumspecte guest trainer Beatrice Anowah Brew.
